Huntington Station-based artist, Anna Edwards, is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design (IxD). She is in training to further her knowledge of Adobe programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc, etc. Furthermore, Anna can gather information and organize it in a useful way to create the optimal user experience. When she isn’t on campus, Anna works as a free-lance artist on the side who prioritizes color and texture in her all of her works. By using her background in art alongside her knowledge of IDX, Anna is capable of creating tasteful and easy to comprehend experiences regardless of what the subject is. Her communication skills and friendly atmosphere make her a good candidate for any job and workplace.

   Anna has experience teaching art to students with special needs, with ages ranging from preschool to high school, at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center. She worked to come up with teaching programs and corresponding art projects for each class. Furthermore, she has worked one on one to assist students with their projects and answer any questions they may have.

 

   As for her experience being a freelance artist, a lot of her work has been mural work. She has done logos on gym floors, and entire walls of private showrooms in NYC. She can achieve varying styles by using different colors and techniques that complement the space around them.
